time flies... and ada is 3 months old today!  this morning we took some photos in one of her many new summer outfits:

since she's been wearing a lot of dresses and sunsuits, she has discovered that she can grab them and put them in her mouth.  yum!

a few months ago revel asked me to be her matron of honor for her upcoming wedding... i was honored!  this weekend, myself and the maid of honor threw her a surprise shower in my parents' barn.  we had it all decked out with blue, white, daisies and seashells.  the weather was lovely and revel got a lot of really nice things...  here's a photo of her and i (with good little ada sleeping throughout the shower!):

after 10 or so days, we finally feel welcome...  just kidding, we never got around to taking the photo til yesterday!

we spotted this guy last night around 10:30 in jeff's parents' yard.  beware bunnies!

and today, we went for a walk around creamer's field with a friend and i managed to snag this photo of a bunch of sandhill cranes landing.  it's not the greatest photo, but i didn't have much time!

there have been 2 bunnies in jeff's parents' yard who have been gallivanting around.  last night i managed to catch them for some photo ops:


this one let me practically walk right up to it!  great for photos, but probably not the smartest rabbit, eh?

and here we are at the knotty shop today, south of north pole in salcha.  nana, auntie hope and i tried to spend money in the gift shop but only ended up with ice cream and these pix of ada with the burled wood animals.

we have arrived in north pole to show the grandbaby off.  today we did the obligatory trip to santa claus house.  in the future, we can use the fact that nana and papa live near santa claus as leverage.  maybe.
